WOW! What a summer!

It's hard  to believe that summer is already winding down.  It feels like yesterday that I was sitting in my apartment in Lakeland wondering what was coming next in life, and now here I am, back home, wondering if I'm ready for what's about to happen.

Moving back home has definitely been a transition.  I feel like I'm constantly having to iron out the "kinks" in life, from relationships to jobs to money to church....it can all just be slightly overwhelming.  The good thing is that I think things have finally started to work themselves out.  (Seems like it took long enough that's for sure.)

So things with the man of
my dreams are more fantastic than ever.  We'll be celebrating one year of being together on Monday! (That's a long t
ime! And I'm looking forward to a bunch more years to come!)  He's amazing. It's the little things that he does in our relationship that makes it special. :)

I'm starting a new job at Matt Elementary as a Music Teacher in the fall! Man do I have a bunch of stuff to do before then! And its only 3 short weeks away, but its a dream come true to be working in Forsyth County.  Its a part time position, but its a strong foot in the door and I'm looking forward to gaining knowledge and experience in the classroom.  Just be praying for me!

I'm still living at home with my parents. (Saving money is always good!)  And I'm still attending church at the same place that I have been for the last few years.  I love my church, and its been a difficult transition trying to find my place because I was out of the picture for so long.  I'm excited about the different leadership roles that I'll be facing in the near future.  I'm definitely learning to trust God and follow His agenda instead of my own.  He's always been faithful to me, so I know that He'll always be faithful! He's just pretty awesome like that.

I'm looking into starting my own photography business, Refocus Photography.  If you need pictures made for anything let me know! I'm willing to work around your budget!  Also, if you would like to take  private lessons in either voice or piano, I am willing to do that as well!

So I'm pretty new to the whole blog thing, but I'll try to keep everyone posted of all of the little tid bits of life!

  1. How wonderful! You got sucked into the blog world! Consistency is key :)

I can't believe you start teaching in THREE weeks! That's when I'll be heading over into the orient. Crazy how God has been so faithful to both of us! Even though it shouldn't be a shock- because He's always that awesome. :)

I'm going to miss being able to just pick up my phone and call you whenever. :( Also, rumors have it facebook and blogspot are blocked in China- that deserves a double sad face :( :(

I love you!!! Keep up your amazingness girl!
